Designer Series: Timeless and Warmth To Make Each Space Feel Like Home @wedocorhs
Warmth and time are the most crucial elements in establishing a cozy atmosphere. This month's designer, Leixuri, touched on the universal desire to create a welcoming space in any home. Leixuri started her journey in Environmental Sciences but found her passion for design in learning and achieving a Master's degree in Landscape Design. After collaborating with architectural studios, it led her to interior design and home styling. When preparing for her partnership with Mor Furniture, she was excited to find that Mor Furniture offers versatile, foundational pieces that make it easy to adapt any style with accessories and decorative elements.
The Plan & Prep
To style two products and bring both designs to life, a combination of in-store furniture accents, studio props, and select accent décor pieces were carefully curated by Leixuri.

Lei’s key for creating a warm and unique space is to carefully selecting furniture, lighting and décor that add personality. Lei chose the Lucy Sofa & Loveseat for its’ classic design that holds a touch of elegance.
She kept the neutral and natural palette by adding earthy tones with the Joyelle Table Lamp and the Boswell Nesting End Tables paired with the Hopkins Accent Chair in Light Natural and Comfort Shag Rug in White with some added warmth with the Foyland Fireplace Console.

To create a living room design with clean lines and texture, Lei selected the Dennon Sofa to use as a foundation. With the fabric being stain-resistant and cleanable, it lends itself to being the base for a warm and livable space. The Sanya Accent Chair compliments the contrasting wood of the Rencott Coffee Table.
