Designer Series: “Serretta Style”s Mor
Serretta of @serrettastyle is a lover of all-things home and fashion. She began her styling and DIY journey 11 years ago as she was making updates to her house and outfits, and doing so inexpensively. She would make edits to her home and clothing as her style evolved but didn’t mind the constant changes so as long as she stayed on budget. Alas, serrettastyle.com was born. It’s a safe space documenting her interior design/fashion discoveries, tips and tricks, creations, inspirations and life living in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and kids.
We saw an opportunity to work together again as a trip to San Diego, California was in the works for Serretta and her family. We’ve had the pleasure of working with her in the past as a #DesignStarChallenge designer and thought a second go-round was a must.
The Plan
Serretta to style two of our #customerfavorite sets in our studio.
The Prep
Style using a combination of Mor Furniture furniture accents, studio props and Serretta’s very own personal accent pieces.
Challenge Two: Passport Sofa
First things first, Serretta filled the bare wall with dimension and dark hues with the Geometrix 3 Door Cabinet and Map Wall Art. She chose the sleek Puckman Accent Chair as a contrast to the Passport Sofa in Stone. The Paradox Coffee Table in Multi & Paradox End Table in Multi take centerstage with their metal and marble top features, plus she some added versatility with the Aden Rug in 1214 Gray. The sofa's included pillows were mixed with other accent pillows, including the Emmy Accent Pillow in Brown. This time, the gallery wall featured the Thames Wall Clock and Jerrin Abstract Wall Art for a splash of black and gold accents.
Check out Serretta’s style inspirations for these 2 sets and more behind-the-scenes fun on her blog.
