Had been eyeing this for a while as it was never in the store. Finally purchased as sight unseen and so far happy w the product. First this set has a GREAT presence. Wow. Not cheap or gaudy. Looks classic but modern. The detailing is great and adds to the wow factor. The color is definitely darker than the pictures show - like a dark walnut. No cherry undertones at all (which is good for us). The grooves are not too deep so cleaning/dust collection shouldn't be bad. A complaint is they have this weird detailing of dots/indentations periodically on the wood. Doesn't add anything other than wondering if it's a defect until you see it a pattern on the work. It's forgettable I think though. A true complaint is the nightstand drawers are a bit tough to push closed. This is something we've seen with their other products and I don't like to have to push harder at the end to shut the drawers closed. The draws have a felt lining inside which is a nice perk. It is not there on the two bottom dresser drawers though. The bed has a USB plug on each side of the headboard which is a nice plus. If you don't use it or need it though it is well hidden. We kept our box mattress and the added height is perfect. The foot of the bedframe is wide enough to sit but with the box spring the mattress is about 7 inches higher so it wouldn't be a regular option to sit on. Overall great set happy with almost all the details.
